Jon Herbst 

Jon Herbst is a composer, arranger, audio engineer and producer, music editor, and jazz pianist. His scoring credits include Academy Award-winning documentaries, independent films, PBS and cable television series, educational CDROMS, interactive media, games, commercials, PSA's, corporate videos, museum installations and books on tape.

He has also produced and engineered several jazz CDs. He has held a wide variety of technical and managerial positions in audio and video post-production. He served as Program Director for NPR station WYSO-FM, as a Video Editor and Audio Mixer for WBZ-TV in Boston and as a Video Editor at KPIX-TV and KQED-TV in San Francisco.

A graduate of Antioch College and Berklee College of Music, he has taught classes in film music composition, and audio production. He also teaches and consults privately.

Jon can usually be found working at Coventry Studios, a recording facility he designed and built.

Jay Cloidt 

Jay Cloidt is a composer and sound designer living in the SF Bay Area. After getting his BA in piano performance, he worked as a professional musician before receiving an MFA in Electronic Music at Mills College. He toured for ten years as a live sound engineer and sound designer for the Paul Dresher Ensemble and Kronos Quartet. He works as studio engineer, award-winning theatrical sound designer, audio engineer, editor and producer, technical consultant, and composer.

Jay has received commissions from Kronos, ODC/SF, the Paul Dresher Ensemble, and from many dance and theater companies and performers. He has performed his work with Kronos at Lincoln Center and at Royal Festival Hall, London. He has also scored feature films and produced CDs for other composers and performers.

Jay provides composition and sound design for Leapfrog, Fisher-Price, Wild Planet, and other toy companies. He has assembled an expert team of voice talent, musicians and designers, and provides complete turnkey audio project management services.
